Join us at Harry's Savoy Grill from 5:00-7:00 (OR LATER) for their Friday Happy hour, featuring 1/2 PRICE appetizers, drink specials, live music and fun! Chat with friends in their expanded bar area.
Half price drafts and $5 specialty cocktails. Always a good time! During the summer it doesn't get too crowded so we should all be seated together.
The Harry's happy hour event is every 3rd Friday of the month.
With the excessive heat warning posted for Friday, the meet up group at Harry's might be inside rather than on the patio as I don't want anyone to be out in the heat and humidity and pass out. The good news is that I'm sure that whether we're inside or out, the place will be ours so we'll be able to spread out and enjoy ourselves. YEA!
We will be 'meeting up' with our friends from The North Wilmington Area Friends Meetup Group (the more the merrier).
PLEASE, if you are a member of both groups
only sign up under the "The Delaware Single Boomers" only, because "The Delaware Single Boomers" do NOT pay the $1.00 Meetup fee that the N. Wilmington Area Friends group charges it's membersand when you sign up under both, it confuses the count of attendees.
Look for the sign-in sheet on one of our tables.
This is a social group happy hour ... everyone is welcome. Come join us and enjoy an evening of relaxation and good conversation.
We are always looking to try a new spot
besides going to our "favorites"
Please feel free to make recommendations of
places to go and things to do .... WE VALUE YOUR INPUT !!!
PLEASE do not RSVP for an event unless your pretty sure that you will be able to attend the event. Understandably things come up and plans do change but as soon as you realize that your plans changed ..... PLEASE try to get a substitute and change your RSVP.
Since the groups organizers volunteer their time it makes it easier for them to plan events, is the fair thing to do for the events business owner as well as allows people that want to attend "limited seating" events to attend. Thank you for your consideration and understanding in regards to this matter.
Thank you, Phil
