Get ready for two scoops of fun at The Old Fashioned Ice Cream Festival at Rockwood. Held on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, this must-attend event features family fun for everyone. Come experience the flavor and flair of an old-fashioned local fair -- featuring local creameries serving the region's best ice creams. In between licks of delicious, decadent old-fashioned ice cream, check out local restaurants offering up their finest dishes, check out gifts from eco-crafter vendors, and enjoy live music.
I'm suggesting people arrive around 12-1 to enjoy the craft and food vendors, then when done we will meetup near the band. Bring a blanket to sit on, bring the kids and or grandkids! I WILL TRY TO GRAB A SPOT FRONT AND CENTER OF THE BANDS.
Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children. OR get admission for two adults for $5 with the link below for Living Social.
I selected Sunday June 29th, as I think it will be less crowded. If the forecast isn't favorable we will move it to June 28th!
YOYO event on 7/28 at 10:00am, but can meet up with June to listen to Club Phred playing at 10:30a.m. and to listen her friend, Kathy Layfield and her "girl band", No Stringz Attached playing at 11:30a.m
