Great! I love the energy of people coming together & sharing their visions. The rush you get when starting a business & creating something out of nothing is incredible.

I enjoyed the meetup. The startup experiences and technology presentations shared were fun and informative. This is the perfect place to meet new people and learn about/share what is happening with the latest technology.

I certainly respect privacy, and I'm sorry to have mis-stepped. I hope no offense was taken. Most meetups focus on startup demos and pitches, but we also bring in speakers to talk about topics related to startups - business, design, web/mobile technology.

well thats nice , Im not offended at all. Is the only group in Delaware for this in Wilmington, or are there other groups in the state and outside the state as well?

Hey Anna, my name is Mona and I have been attending these Meetups for 2 years. Steve and Wes are the co-founders of The coIN Loft (the space where the Meetup is held) and are truly great, welcoming and awesome guys. As one of the only girls who attends these, I can honestly say that the people who attend these each month are just as awesome. I hope you decide to join us next week, but if you have any questions and/or want to tour the space beforehand, you can contact me directly: [masked]

    Best regards,

    Mona

Hi Anna. I attended this meetup for the first time four months ago, and I have enjoyed the experience. It was my first meetup - tech or otherwise - so I have nothing to compare it to; however being a shy person I have really appreciate how nice, friendly, and social everyone attending this meetup is. At my first meeting Wes took time to engage me which helped make me feel like part of the group really quick.

...small iPhone keys... I meant to end with this: the scene in Delaware is small and this group is part of a machine that is just ramping up. It's exciting to be a part of something from new.

Yes! I've attended some of these, and all have been informative and inspiring- I leave the meetings with a head full of ideas.

It's a good mix. The group ranges from early 20's to 40+

"Anna", please let me know if I'm out of line here, but by the look of your profile and the fact that I can't find anything about you anywhere else online (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.), it would appear that you're not a real person. If, who ever you are, are interested in starting a tech / startup related group in the wilmington area, I can tell you that we more than welcome diversity here. We are a very young, up and coming community. We need all the activity we can get to grow. I'm available at the coin loft everyday if you'd like to drop by to talk about what we need in this community, and how another group might benefit our growth.
