I am a startup.
My business will provide non partison research service in public and international policy to the public and private sectors using databases such as Dialog, LexisNexis, and Westlaw.
I worked many years for the U.S. Government Accountability Office as a technical information specialist (research librarian) and analyst. I frequently used databases to search for information, organize and manage data, and for data analysis. Microsoft Access is a favorite and I was MOUS certified in one of the earlier versions. I have a MLIS from U.C. Berkeley with a specialty in Reference and a BA in International Policy with a specialty in the Middle East from Monterey Institute of International Studies. I enjoy reading, taking long walks and scenic drives.
Hello. I'm an independent information professional planning a research business which means I need to keep up with the latest technology.
