Marketing today versus marketing 10 years ago has dramatically changed. CMOs and VPs of Marketing are now expected to do more than create awareness, analyze competition, and create their go-to-market strategies. They are increasingly expected to drive pipeline and prove it too!
This is a huge win for Marketing as it is changing the perception of the department across companies. They are being seen more and more of a revenue generator, rather than a cost center. Because of this, Marketers are becoming more empowered and are able to command larger budgets.

The format will be as follow:
30 minutes of a presentation on any topic related to demand generation
30 minutes discussion on that topic
30 minutes of open chat where people can discuss interesting ideas they have come across or get help resolving issues or approaching a project.

...and this was just at the top of my head- there is so much to learn about and discuss! Location is TBD- but somewhere with beer and quiet enough to where we can have meaningful discussions and short presos.
