125 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh, PA (map)
Unfortunately, due to a scheduling error I had to move our meetup from Tonic to Bar Louie. No worries, the new venue offers better parking, better prices, and a stunning view of the city. I've booked us for a party of 20, so please feel free to bring guests. If anyone needs additional information or directions let me know.
I am thrilled to announce that Pittsburgh is one of 7 lucky cities that will be receiving a DMS Party Pack. Also, keeping with the holiday spirit, I thought that it would be fun to do a gift swap with a little twist. Bring a gift wrapped book to the meetup. It can be any book, old or new, the only stipulation is that it must be a book you have personally read and loved. After the swap we can all try and guess whose book we got. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
I just want to check in and confirm that everyone is still coming.
Also I would like to get some feedback. For those who are planning for a late dinner, do we want to purchase a platter or keep food on separate checks? Take a look at the menus and let me know what you think
I'll be there depending on the weather. I'm okay with separate checks.
Awesome Michelle! Weather is looking good for Thursday, hope to see you!
Lindsay,I would love to help you organize a Pittsburgh meet-up. I was thinking a location downtown would be good. That way it will be easy for members who live outside of the city to find. The spot I had in mind is Tonic. They serve excellent food and the prices are reasonable.
Sounds perfect, and I like the idea of a centralized meeting point. Thanks for helping out! Does Tonic/Downtown work for everyone?
Here is the url to Tonic's website if anyone wants to check it out. http://www.tonicpittsburgh..... Lindsay, my personal email is [masked] message me when you are ready to start making plans
Wow! Tonic looks cool. Great choice! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Let's try to set up a good place to meet; since it's at 8, how about a late dinner someplace?
Tonic sounds good also.
Yes! I haven't had a Tonic tonic in ages!!
