May DemoDays with Columbia's ADI

May 4th, doors open at 4:30pm, show starts at 5.

Join us as students take the stage to showcase what they've been working on. For this final Spring DemoDay, we're rallying with our neighbors up north, the Columbia Application Development Initiative (ADI) to bring everyone together for awesome collaboration and community!

In case you're new around these parts, here's how it works:

  • Students present dope projects: handful of 2-minute demos, a few 5-minute demos
  • Guest speaker from the NYC community rocks the house
  • Eat pizza & hang out with us

Co-sponsored by Columbia ADI

Columbia ADI (Application Development Initiative) serves to nurture student creativity and technological aptitude by providing resources for developers of all skill levels. Check out for some of our past and upcoming projects.

We're collaborating with Tech@NYU to help grow the student developer community at large, and create a stronger tech culture in New York!

Props and thanks go out to the kind folks at Knewton for sponsoring this months DemoDay. Since 2008, the NYC-startup has been developing adaptive technology that continuously personalizes online learning content for each individual student. Thank you Knewton!

Hi guys, it was great to meet many of you. Some of you asked me about afterwards. If you'd like to get a Paris box, I created a free shipping code just for you. Please use code DEMODAYS. If you order by tonight, it will get anywhere on the East Coast by Mother's Day (we ship tomorrow). Hope to see you all again soon. Stay tuned!

Demos were weaker than usual and I'm not sure why John was there as a guest speaker
