As many people said it was a mob scene, esp for Traci's rather small Pink Cow. (would have been great at Traci's previous Pink Cow in Harajuku) But the wine was good, thank you ORCA! And the food was good. Lots of interesting people from AFWJ, the world of wine, univerities and newspapers.

Nice place, convenient location, exciting atmosphere, but too many people, hard to carry on a conversation.

It was great to see everyone! It was also amazing to see so many supporters! Let's get to work!

The venue was (needless to say) way too small for this event. Not sure why we had a sign-up when anyone could come in. The music was depressing instead of celebratory.

I was very surprised that so many people showed up! Where have you all been all this time? We hope you can come to more of our future events :) It was an international crowd, and I think President Obama would be very happy if he knew that so many people got together in Tokyo for the celebration--we'll just have to get a bigger venue.

The bad news was that the Pink Cow was much too small for it, so I left after 5 minutes as did many people. Failure in success. The message going out should be that attaching the Obama name to anything right now---and hopefully for long in the future---is better than gold. The upside of my visit was that I talked to a nice person I had met at an earlier Democratic event for a bit. And later hung out locally with 4 people who also felt crowded out of the Pink Cow. No fault of anyone who put the thing together---thank God there are volunteers in our political system. But PLEASE PLEASE realize that you "have arrived" so to speak. It's President Obama, and so stuff organized in Tokyo ought to carry the fact that it's President Obama from now on. The Mall in Washington was crowded. The Cow was crowded. Please plan accordingly.
