Thanks to Gretchen for securing the club house for us.
The date and time is set. I'm going to add the details and ins and outs of a plant swap to the thread over in the discussion section.
You can post trades there if you'd like, but a much better place with more exposure would be on Texas Garden Web:
Gail aka Melvalena
Its time to start planning the swap. If you don't know what a plant swap is check out last year's swap pages on Texas Garden Web:
and this posting from last year's Fall Swap
We need to zero in on a date & reserve the location.
Easter weekend is out, (March 31st) and also May 4th.
Any other up coming weekends need to be blacked out?

Shari, you would have had a great time. Contact Gretchen about the iris... I told her you were looking.

Fabulous, great plants, great people!
OH it was a wonderful afternoon!
We're going to miss those of you who can't make it. :(
We have to work hard this weekend cleaning all the abandoned old flower beds from previous owner. I can't swap nor get more plants now. :(

March 10 would be GREAT...let's set this baby. April 20 would be a nice way to make the rounds and have it along w/ Red Bud later in the day. May 12 (Mother's Day) would also be a sweet day to have it. Since you are offering and if Gail is OK w/ it you should just offer the day that works for you two.... and we should all be grateful.

I've started a discussion over on the discussion page of this forum. My reply was too long to post here. Look for it in the outings and meet ups area.
Not available on April 20 or 21....I like Michi's offer... May 11th is better for me and if she is offering her space then YES!!!!

Gretchen is checking to see if we can get the club house where we held the Fall Swap last year. We're looking at April 21st.. a Sunday afternoon. will update as soon as we find out.
I'll be there unless it conflicts with something I've already committed to!
