Evangelion 1.0 showings?

I read on Anime News Network that Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone is being release in North America now, and according to the Funimation site, it's going to play in Denver in August (http://www.funimation.... It says Denver Film Society as the venue but when I look at the Denver Film Society web site, I don't see it listed at all. Does anyone else have more information on this and where it'll be playing? It's supposed to show there for a week.

If we can find it, we should make it a meet-up and go. Movie events are always fun!

The Denver showing was news to me, because the first ANN announcement had mainly the west coast, some big East Coast cities, and tons of Canada locations as the only places it would play.

Maybe the announcement is too recent for the DFS to have enough info to update their web page? I'll certainly make an event once more details are released, and hope I'll be in town for it because that's the week (give or take a few days) I'll be with the family in TX.

I'll keep checking too and if I find out anything I'll post it here. I hope the DFS will update their web site with info soon.

The Denver Film Society has shown anime in the past during their film festival - this could be that.

In which case I suggest buying tickets early.

Wow sounds cool. This is the reinterpretation of the first quarter of the series right?

Something like that, but I can't remember what episode ends the Ramiel story arc in the anime series.
