The Steamroller- instead of sampling 1-2 episodes of many different series, we (try to) watch a/the title/s through to completion. 13-episode series (or shorter OAVs and movies) are preferred unless you're prepared to wrap things up closer to midnight than not.
Bring 1 or 2 titles to choose from, plenty of caffeine if necessary, and a willingness to sit through whatever's picked- and if nobody brings titles you're stuck picking from my collection (I don't have a fansub database, but I have ~200 fansubbed series). All formats and media (including USB flash drives and memory cards) allowed since I have a media center/HTPC, but know your player just in case I'm missing your codec.
Since there's usually a much smaller number of attendees as compared to our other anime viewing activity and people aren't all there at the start time, you can bring your own lunch instead of a potluck item for everybody. I will have a few snacks to share, and we can decide as a group what to do about dinner if we go that long- Oshima Ramen is nearby, and we've done that several times.
Due to limited seating ability, only RSVP 'YES' if you really plan on showing up. 'Maybe' choice not allowed, as it just blocks others from filling the open spots.
Apartment complex is about 1 mile from Southmoor Light Rail Station, and with some advance notice you can call for a pickup from there. Bus stop for Route 105 (Havana Crosstown) is right in front.
Plenty of parking in the non-covered spaces, and you'll need to ring 301 at the south end of the building for entry.
