All new! All Different! New Location! Time for the viewing to take place in my new apartment! The only issue would be parking. And as usual: Please limit the anime series you bring to 2 per person. Please bring food or beverage for all to share. Remember the little dog will want your lap to sit in & you will get to meet the ferrets!! ^_^ I also ask if you have a favorite chair you like to sit in, bring that as well. I'm thinking we could go out to see the new Astro Boy movie and then get to a place to eat and talk about the movie and other things.

I'm going to try something different this time, and maybe keep it this way if the attendance is better. I'm holding the event during the week in the hopes of nabbing some people who prefer using their weekends in other ways. Since many of us work 1st shift, this means the event can only (reasonably) be a few hours long. This means movies or OAVs that are complete in 2 disks or less. Bring 1 or 2 titles to choose from, and if nobody brings anything you're stuck picking from my collection. All formats and media (including USB flash drives and memory cards) allowed since I have a media center/HTPC, but know your player just in case I'm missing your codec. It's up to you whether or not you eat before the Meetup. You're more than welcome to bring your meal and/or snacks in, and I'll have some snacks and drinks to share. Due to limited seating ability, only RSVP 'YES' if you really plan on showing up. 'Maybe' choice not allowed, as it just blocks others from filling the open spots. The room setup. Apartment complex is about 1 mile from Southmoor Light Rail Station, and with some advance notice you can call for a pickup from there. Bus stop for Route 105 (Havana Crosstown) is right in front. Plenty of parking in the non-covered spaces, and you'll need to ring 301 at the south end of the building for entry.

Today is the day I revert to being a bachelor. I will be moving things out of my old place into my new place. Everyone that helps will be treated to a pizza party paid for by me. Please meet at the location listed and we will caravan to my new place. Hope to see you there!

We're going to give Old Chicago a chance. I apologize for having it a bit more south than usual, but parking at the Colorado Blvd location was very limited.

Hey guys i'm starting a new viewing. i'm new to Colorado and to the group but i have always loved anime. i'm a 25 yr old guy who recently left the army to come here for school. i have a decent sized apartment that could seat 6-8 comfy and maybe 9 or 10 if you brought a folding camp chair. i have a 39"vizio with PS3 so blurays and high def stuff is cool that coupled with my crappy pawn shop surround sound its a decent setup. feel free to bring stuff to eat but i was originally going to be a chef and whipping up some appetizers wouldn't be a prob, and i would provide the coke and what not (cause i'm such a great guy). i don't have any pets and mostly smoke out side. i'm one of those crazy neat freaks so my place isn't a slum. i love all the classics. at the last meet up i openly admitted i'm really a poser. i only watch what's good enough for adult swim or what my brother tells me to watch. but i am always grateful when some one turns me on to some good anime, so fell free to bring what ever. this is my first viewing but i think it can be a resounding success granted the attendance is adequate.

All new! All Different! New Location! We've got a bigger location in the new basement with a full fridge that you can stock with as much food as you like! And as usual: Please limit the anime series you bring to 2 per person. Please bring food or beverage for all to share. Remember the little dog will want your lap to sit in & you will get to meet the ferrets!! ^_^ I also ask if you have a favorite chair you like to sit in, bring that as well. Also, we go out to dinner afterward to just chat.

Time for another group movie outing! Fathom Events is showing the Eureka Seven movie in theaters nationwide. This is one-night-only, so there's no discussion on when to schedule the event. The movie itself starts at 7:30, so I'd like us to be gathered in the lobby by 7pm so we can head into the theater by about 7:10. Stragglers will have to fend for themselves.

Back to Woody's for our rescheduled post-NDK dinner. I know some people have various issues with this venue and I apologize, but this is currently the only restaurant I know of that can hold our regular count, plus whatever boost we might gain from advertising at NDK (I've listed the dinner date on the card so they don't miss out), in a fashion that doesn't cramp us all at one long table. When I made the reservation this time, I was told that it was SOP for large groups to get one bill. How we avoided it twice is beyond me, but I am more than willing to be the point man for the tab as long as the rest of you bring cash/check to reimburse me, if we can't weasel out of it again.
