Hello nice to meet you all, I haven't been to NDK since NDK 3 when Becca was running the show, but I'm happy to see that it's grown so big. I'll keep an eye on local meets, and and attend what I can.

"I did volunteer service for NDK II and NDK III back in the 90s. I was a member of the Colorado School of Mines anime/manga club in the mid 90s till I found a faster method to import media from Japan. Currently I work around 50 hours a week, and try to watch as much anime in-between as I can. To this day I still love anime more then anything else. You can sometimes catch me broadcasting anime at http://www.justin.tv/nails If you want to chat, I'm a big IRC nut. You can find me hanging out with Roger of GimmeAnime on efnet. The channel is #gimmeanime. If I'm not awake when you show up, then just /query me and leave a message there, I'll get it when I get home. Or you can just hang out and chat with Roger and company. I've always wanted to be more active in Denver?s anime community; however restraints in time make it very difficult. I will do my best to show up at some of these meets and get to know everyone. -V "

Everyone seems like good people, it's nice to see that the organizers are at least going around and making sure everyone can speak their mind. There will always be the shy ones, and they need more than anyone else to be included. I would suggest in the future putting the shy people in the middle of the entire group.
