Members of Denver Day Hikers are not asked to pay a fee or to donate for attending events. But you understand that you will incur costs related to appropriate gear, gas/carpool contributions, state or national park entrance fees, food, etc.?
Yes, totally understand this.
Outdoor activities can be risky and you are responsible for your own gear and safety. Do you understand that you participate at your own risk, are responsible for your own safety, and release the organizers from liability?
Yes, I've got a good insurance also covering search and rescue.
What types of hikes would you most enjoy with the group? EASIER (6 miles and 1,000’ gain or less); MODERATE (6-9 miles and 1,000-2,000’ gain); or ADVENTUROUS (10 miles and more than 2,000’ gain or more)
Done moderate ones, which became a little boring, so I'm definitely up for some adventurous ones.
I moved from Germany to Denver a few months ago. I've done a few hiking trips by myself but figured out that it might be more fun to do it with people who share similar interests.
I'm jogging a lot to stay fit for relays and marathons.
