Facebook is the #1 social media site of all time. Do you know how to leverage the power of Facebook to establish yourself as an expert in your field and grow your business? During this discussion, you will learn how to develop a rock-solid platform and foster the “know, like and trust” factor that is essential in today’s market. You will also learn the 3 deadly mistakes people make on Facebook that get them banned and how to create a plan that utilizes your time wisely, while making the most impact.

We will also discuss:

· The Do’s and Don’ts of Facebook Etiquette

· Power of Having a Fan Page

· What To Say Next: Great Content

Charlene Murphy is a multi-media Internet marketing expert and owner of GoodLife Media. She consults with clients in a variety of businesses around the world to increase their exposure and profitability with the many new resources on the Internet, including social media and self-publishing. Charlene also teaches a variety of Internet classes at Colorado Free University and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs grow their business.

We'll be in the Anderson Room, so we can close the door and have all the room and quiet we need. If you're coming straight from work, you can pick up dinner close by to eat during the meeting. (Click here for restaurant list: http://snipurl.com/al...)

$$ As always, this is a NO SALE ZONE, and there is no fee to attend. $$ (Our Sponsor: Visibility Consultants, covers all the costs for you.)

The most important part of the meeting is open networking from 6:30 - 7:00 pm, so make sure you show up on time to make valuable connections. The formal meeting runs from 7:00 - 8:30, with open networking again at the end. Bring plenty of business cards and be prepared to meet some new power partners!

Marketing Materials Table: Bring your flyers, brochures, etc., to share with others.

Directions: The Englewood Library is in the Englewood Civic Center in the area you old-timers will remember as Cinderella City. One block east of Santa Fe on Hampden is Inca. Turn north on Inca, and take the first left into the lower level of the parking structure. The library entrance is on this level. The Anderson Room is in the southwest corner of the library.

Parking: Park your vehicle in the parking structure, and not on the street, so you don't have to worry about getting a parking ticket!

    •  I thought it was very interesting and helpful. There could actually be a continuation of this meeting, because there is so much more to learn about Facebook for Business! The presenter was excellent.
    • Jo Guerra (+9 guests)
Thanks to Charlene for being my first presenter and doing such a great job on educating all of us. Thank you, Barbara and John, for allowing me to take over the group. And thanks to everyone that came tonight. I'm only sorry our time for the Meetup is too short. I know we learned a lot and will create or improve our existing Business fan pages. Then we can become each other's instant fans. See you next month!
    •  need a part two
    •  AWESOME INFORMATION! Unfortunately too short!! Suggestion, break the topic up into sessions. Session 1 Mechanics and How To's - Session 2 Basic Marketing Tips for Small Businesses - Session 3 - Advanced FB Marketing and Mechanics. Just a thought! But a great meeting with an awesome turnout!
    •  Great info, impactful speaker, timely and relevant info well presented. Wonderful moderator!
    •  I'd say this was Chapter One in a series that could go for ten. Loved that she had her Facebook page up for all to see. Other classes I've been to haven't had that.
    •  Very good - great people.
    •  I didn't really get the "rock solid foundation" that I was expecting. The "Leverage of power of face book" is the fan page? I felt the meetings information was not connected to the topic that was presented in the bio. I felt I was in her living room , rather than learning how to face book my business. It would of been helpful to have a more step by step approach of how to face book my business. I didn't hear anything about the "three pitfalls". I did enjoy the network aspect , and the time management of the evening, yet I felt the speaker felt rushed and needed more time. I would suggest the networking part could follow the speaker for more question time and personal networking and have speaker give hand outs for reverence information. That way, if the speaker doesn't cover all that is presented in the meet up bio. the attendees don't go home without the needed information they came for.....all said, I would attend another meeting.
    •  Learned a lot from the presentation. The leadership change was smothly made and I look forward to more great guest speakers.
    •  It provided new information and a perspective that I didn't have coming in.
