Denver Free Spanish Network - Spanish Language Meetup Message Board › Don't forget about Rosa Linda's Happy Hour this Friday
Rosa Linda's has been around for over 25 years. They are a family-owned and run business in NW Denver, and have the best Mexican food in town. Don't believe me -- just because I've been a regular customer since they opened. Here's what WESTWORD had to say in 1988 when they were awarded the BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT AWARD:
"The Aguirres dote on customers as if they were relatives visiting from another city. They really care whether you are comfortable, and give you unmatched, personalized service -- as well as a few tastes of whatever new recipe they are trying out, whether it's cactus soup or a bread pudding Virgil picked up on his most recent trip to Mexico."
The complete story of their family and restaurant is too long to tell here -- as is the number of awards they have won -- but they have fed and hosted three generations of family, major music artists, senators, mayors, wives and presidents of the USA, and have been in the Wall Street Journal TWICE! Last Thanksgiving they gave away 4,500 free meals to the needy. Amazing, but true.
And better than that, Rosa Linda's is setting up a HAPPY HOUR JUST FOR US! Starting at 5PM they are offering $3 drinks -- beer, sangria, margaritas -- with lots of wonderful finger food. You can, of course, also select from their wonderful regular menu at amazing prices.
Come join us at Rosa Linda's for a great evening of fun. You can come at 5PM for the HAPPY HOUR, or at 6PM for dinner.
If you plan on coming -- friends are welcome, as always. They are located at 33rd and Tejon in NW denver.
