Steamboat Springs, here we come! Don't miss this great girls weekend getaway! We are going to have a BLAST! Come stay in a gorgeous location and enjoy making new friends and plenty of FUN as we explore this great mountain town with lots of opportunity to relax in the hot springs, enjoy a dinner sleigh ride, take a snowmobile tour and much more! See all the details below and grab your spot today! I hope you'll join us!

Here is the scoop...

Friday:

We'll meet on Friday, November 30th around 12:30pm to carpool up to Steamboat which is about 3 hours away. This will get us there before dark and so we'll get to enjoy the scenic drive there. We'll check into our home for the weekend at The Porches. This place looks AMAZING and I can't believe the deal we got at more than 50% off the house. We have a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom 4.026 sq ft home. It has three King beds, 1 Queen, and 4 twins so it will easily sleep 12 of us for a great slumber party! Granite countertops, 2 fireplaces, a game room with a pool table, hot tub, soaking tubs and a rain shower are just a few of the luxuries that await us! (In your RSVP, you'll be prompted for your sleeping preference if you have one as far as the type of bed or a roommate request...they will be on a first come first serve :-) No preference? Great! Don't know anyone? No problem! Most of us will be meeting for the first time. These trips are super fun and you are sure to leave with some new great friends!!! With a professional grade kitchen and all the amenities as well, we'll be set for the weekend!

After we get set and relax at our new place we'll have a little bit of down time before heading out for a sleigh ride dinner. We'll meet our ride at a location in town where we'll head to Bar Lazy L Ranch. We'll take a twenty minute ride up the Elk River valley, where our horse drawn sleighs await. The sleigh ride trail follows the river through the lower pasture, drifts through the trees, and traverses back down our meadow to the loft of a remodeled barn. There, warm drinks, entertainment, and hospitality wait. Dinner is being prepared as you warm up, shake off the winter weather, browse the many western artifacts accumulated by the family over the years, and hear traditional western music performed by local artists. Dinner is served as the preparation completes. After dinner there is additional entertainment as you relax to let dinner settle. The after dinner entertainment concludes, as you bundle back up to take the sleighs back to the bus, and are returned to town. "Quality food and entertainment are our primary concerns. Having the ability to complement those two items with the horses, stories, and love of the western lifestyle, create a truly unique atmosphere that has to be experienced. We tend to leave the vast majority of patrons with a VERY full stomach and a smile on their face. We enjoy doing this and it shows." This is a BYOB so bring your favorite wine or drink to share with you and we'll take it with us. Dinner includes:

As a main entree you get a choice of a 16-18 oz, fresh cut, rib eye steak, a specially marinated and grilled chicken breast, or Trout that is seasoned and prepared in a grill/steam fashion. The main entree is then accompanied by a baked potato, corn, baked beans, and a fresh dinner roll.

Beverages include Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Hot Tea, Hot Cider, and Water.

We'll return to our "home" and play some games, relax by the fire, and have some fun!

Saturday:

Breakfast at home! I'll be bringing the ingredients for us to whip up some yummy breakfast (we'll have quiche and fruit, coffee and tea, and other yummy breakfast items)...we'll pitch in and prepare some delicious fare in our gourmet kitchen. After breakfast you can elect free time to relax as you choose (you can snowshoe, take a scenic drive, go tubing, etc.) OR you can join us on a snowmobile trip!!! Snowmobiling is truly my favorite winter activity and if you haven't been before be sure to join us for the fun! We'll get to play in the snow via snowmobile and see some great scenery. Cost of the snowmobile trip includes transportation to the trails, the guided ride, boots, helmet, etc. and hot drinks, pastries, and lunch (organic and vegetarian options available). I got a great coupon for this snowmobile package regularly $155 plus lunch for only $105 each including lunch! This offer is only available for those signing up in the next 5 days so grab it before it goes up! If you want to go add this to your payment. (The snowmobile company also includes free tubing so if we are ready for some more we can ride the tubes a few times!)

After our afternoon of adventure, we'll have dinner in town at one of the Steamboat restaurants and enjoy a relaxing dip during the adults only time at the hot springs (6:45pm-8:45pm)!

Sunday:

We'll enjoy another yummy breakfast and relaxing morning with coffee and tea by the fire before checking out of our home! We'll head to the town of Steamboat and have some fun exploring the town, shopping and having lunch. After we have shopped and eaten our way through town, we'll be homeward bound! We'll plan to leave Steamboat by 2pm at the latest  to get home before dark and prepare for the week ahead!

The cost of only $250.00 includes all of the following:

Lodging for 2 nights

Breakfast for 2 mornings

Entry to hot springs

Sleigh Ride with dinner

Meetup Fee

Don't miss this fun trip! You'll only need additional spending money for gas for your carpool, lunches and one dinner and whatever you want for shopping! Plus, please bring some snacks to share and a beverage (alcohol or otherwise :-) for when we are hanging at the house. Bring board games, books, whatever you want for a relaxing weekend and don't forget your swimsuit!

Let me know if you have any questions! This trip is limited firmly to 12 attendees!

See you soon!

No worries, Sofi. You drive the snowmobile yourself. It is really easy. There will be 2 guides that lead the group. If you want to go, just let me know and we'll get you signed up!

I really want to come but I won't be able to leave until 3 since I work until 2:30. Would that be ok? Maybe there are other people that are thinking of coming but can't leave until a little later and we can carpool together?

Hi Sofi. Yes! Go ahead and RSVP...if you can leave by 3pm you'll make it in time for dinner. Once you RSVP I'll send out an email letting everyone know we'll have 2 carpools...one leaving at 3pm and one leaving earlier! :-)
