I'm currently reading The Magus, by John Fowles which has been excellent. I tend to be one of those people that tries to make their way through classics that I didn't get to while in school, so I would love to read any of those. But, I'm pretty open to anything-I am looking forward to this group b/c I haven't been a member of a good book club in a few years & I think having friends with open minds to discuss topics with really motivates me to bring in new suggestions.
This is obviously a tough question. I would have to say that my favorite is still Beloved, by Toni Morrison. I read it while I was in college and had such a profound impact on me that I guess I haven't really come across as strongly since.
I don't have any in mind at the moment, but would love to help out with this down the road :)
I'm a CO native looking for fun things to do & to expand my social circle :) I haven't been a part of a book club in a few years since my old one dissipated & I've missed the combination of intelligent discourse while eating/drinking/socializing :)
