There'll be a talk on "Software Performance & Scalability" at the Panera in Glendale this Sunday Feb 24th at 2pm. The talk will cover what those terms mean, why you should care, and 10 techniques & architectural patterns (such as caching, parallelization, etc) you can apply to maximize these qualities of a system. The talk will be 30 minutes with time for Q&A afterward and personal networking.

The address is 640 S. Colorado. Its just south of the Cherry Creek Drive intersection. Lots of good tables, and you can buy a variety of food and drink. We'll be to the left after you come in. The speaker is the blonde guy with a Mac laptop.
