Are you a full stack Agile developer of modern web apps? Can you build a node.js-based application and deploy it to the cloud? Do you embrace data-bound UIs and the frameworks and libraries that enable them? Do you strive for REST but can work with SOAP when needed? Can you make a compelling case about when to use SQL vs NoSQL databases? Are you interested in creating a platform and widgets that integrate with third-party products? Do you want to learn more about search engine architecture? If you answered "YES!" to these questions, then eGlobal Library will be a great place to use your existing skills and develop new ones while creating products that you can be proud of.

Our ideal candidate has most of the following qualifications:

  • A strong desire to work with a talented team to build beautiful and highly-performing web apps
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field. 4-5 years of experience
  • Successful development and deployment of a node.js application with a two-way data-bound UI querying a NoSQL database
  • Strong experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Knockout, jQuery, etc.
  • MV* application architecture
  • API integration/development (REST, SOAP, OAuth, SAML, etc.)
  • Version control (Git, etc.)
  • JavaScript testing frameworks (QUnit, Jasmine, etc.)
  • Search engine architecture (ElasticSearch, Solr, etc.)
  • Data transformation techniques (XSLT,etc.)

Headquartered in the Denver Tech Center, eGlobal Library is a turnkey solution for hosting the online libraries of educational institutions. As the library's lead technologist, you will work closely with the product development team to convert designs into functional products. These products include web sites, mobile apps, browser extensions, embeddable widgets, and the APIs that allow them to interoperate in a technological ecosystem which you will have a primary role in architecting.

Here at eGlobal Library, we offer a place to grow your career with a respect for a healthy work/life balance. Specifically, we offer competitive salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching, life & disability insurance), an onsite gym with locker rooms (free to employees), multiple lunchrooms, free lot and garage parking, as well as quick access to the Denver light rail and within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and shopping.

You will thrive at eGlobal Library if you:

  • Exude passion about your work.
  • Bring talent and motivation to the table.
  • Are one of the best at what you do, but you don’t let it go to your head.
  • Enjoy collaborating as part of a small, intimate team and making ideas become reality.
  • Want to own your architectural and framework choices.
  • Want to be a part of cutting-edge technology, doing something that no one else is doing.
  • Want to be a part of a team that is building a world-class product.
  • Want to work for a company that is as forward-thinking as a startup but has the stability and funding most startups lack.
