I'm the founder of IDEA Cafe and Franklin Circles here in Denver, Colorado. I've done business consulting since 1979.
My consulting/adult learning practice, founding President of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association, a TV/radio show, several businesses, a few newsletters, and a 23 year marrage which ended in 1990, and engament with my high school sweetheart Mary.

Getting together with other people who like thinking outside the box. That's why I've facilitated the IDEA Cafe since 1994, I really enjoy and benefit from the meetings myself!

"Doug Root and a few of us held the first Franklin Circle in Denver in 1996 as an outgrowth of what we then called the IDEA Association, which had started in 1994. Ask me about the new Franklin Circle that is now forming here in Denver!"
Helpful people, inspirational startup stories, creative brainstorming sessions. Great way to get next week started. Not meant to be a stop for you every week, just for those Friday afternoons when you are not quite sure what you are going to do Monday morning.
