I read your comments to a Wall Street Journal Article on Business Plans for start-ups posted this Monday. I trying to think about ways of funding my ideas and thought I'd start by listening to others ideas / success stories as a first step.

I have a start-up consulting business in place and want to move it to an applications business with our own software product.
