New Meetup: The Hanasu Meetup

Announcing a new Meetup for Denver, Fujisan Japanese Language Group!

What: The Hanasu Meetup

When: September 19,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Konnichiha, minasan!

The Fujisan Japanese Language Group was created so that people of all levels could practice speaking to each other in Japanese. However, sometimes there seems to be some difficulty in keeping conversations going once they have begun.

To help remedy this, we're hosting a Speech Practice this Friday at 5PM. It will be a more structured meetup than our other meetups, which are largely free conversational. We'll be studying, and then immediately practicing Japanese grammar. As little writing as possible will be taught. It will be a fast and dirty oral session. Some vocabulary will be introduced, but not much. The goal of the meetup will be to gain a proficiency in speaking Japanese through structured speaking exercises. Afterward, we may engage in free speaking with each other.

Ayako, one of our native Japanese speakers, has stated that she is willing to be a guest at the meetup in order to help everyone with any questions that might arise, and to make sure that real-world nihongo is used. We may start having it every Friday, depending on how this one goes. However, this single meetup should cover a ton of material.

Please, email me if you intend to attend. Hope to see you there.

James
