I decided to start this group because I am a mom who profoundly misses my own mother who died when I was 22. I am now 40 and the mother of 3 small children, ages 4.5, 2.5 and 8months and I wish I could share with her all of the milestones in my life as well as my kids' lives. I often wonder what I was like as a baby and whether my children follow the same patterns I did. I wondered whether we had similar pregnancy and labor experiences. I am hoping to meet other moms who have lost their mothers. It is my hope that we could be a support to each other while helping to raise our kids to make our mothers proud. I am looking for moms of younger children who would like to get together with their kids for play dates as well as events without the children. We could share our experiences and offer support to one another.
