Our organization is dedicated to the responsible dog owners, citizens of Denver, Colorado, that advocate the city adopt a Voice and Sight Canine control program to allow for off-leash animals in all city parks.
Our group meets with other people who are interested in Off Leash Dog Policy and Recreation in Denver. Gather and discuss this growing trend across the nation with other dog enthusiasts here in Denver! Bring your dogs!
Our group is interested in organizing dog owners in Denver to become a powerful voice whose quality of life and recreation needs are heard and considered by those in city government setting policy around this very important issue.
The city seems more interested in handing out tickets to dog owners that are also tax payers as a revenue source then looking at this obvious problem and providing mutually beneficial solutions to all in the community that use our parks. We aim to change this policy. Joining this group will allow us to create a database of off leash advocates that can organize to let our leaders know that if off leash programs can work in great cities like New York City, Portland, Boulder, etc. then they can certainly work here in Denver and continue to create the great town we want to live in.
Come and let our dogs be free of the leash! As we throw Frisbee and balls to our pups, we discuss a voice and sight command and control program for Denver that would allow for off leash Canines in Denver parks and public places. Stop the insanity of the tickets and outdated leash laws. We can change this policy in Denver and enjoy time with our dogs in our parks the way we want to. Read more
