I had a great time meeting people last night - people who are interested in puppet and automation in general. They do exist!

A topic idea I'd love to talk about more in the future are options for securely signing node certificates in dynamic environments (AWS is my personal interest). Currently I use R.I. Pienaar's ec2-boot-init and mcollective-server-provisioner to provision newly created nodes (custom AMI), but even R.I. was surprised someone was using it - not a good sign.

Cloud provisioner (by puppetlabs) exists as well, but I believe it requires certificate generation/signing as a separate process and doesn't support automatically cleaning certs on all masters if a hostname is reused and I don't think would work with AWS's CloudWatch due to the way it needs to be invoked.

What other options are out there? What other solutions are people using?
