The mortal world of Avatar is a wondrous and perilous place, divided into four separate nations. Each of these governing nations are as unique as their founding element.
100 years ago, the Fire Nation, in its rise to power, wiped out the Air Nomads in an attempt to kill the Avatar. Instead of fighting, the Avatar abandoned the world to its devices and in his absence the balance of the world has been broken.
During that time the Fire Nation has been building its forces, expanding its reach, and implementing their rule over as much of the world as they could. But no one knows when or where the next stone will be cast and while the powers that rule the world wait and plot, the citizens are left living in search of safety…
As our future heroes find their way in life and travel, a light graces the sky with the return of hope, but hope does not grow without help… and help, is not always known.
This campaign takes place in the world and during the events of the wonderful series of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We’ll begin as the show begins, however, you’ll be playing unknown or unsung heroes in the story of the world, and while Team Avatar is off on their adventures, you’ll be having your own. This game features a sandbox world which holds true to Avatar Universe, allowing you to travel and handle situations as you see fit in places both before and/or after Team Avatar has made their mark upon them.
*Players are allowed to play any human from any nation save for the Air Nomads, but will be working together as the world’s B-Team.
*This campaign features an elaborate story created by its players in a world that is highly praised. The story will be filled with rich descriptions and will feature challenges of all kinds.
*We’ll be using a modified version of the Savage Worlds ruleset to conduct our gameplay, however the rules have been adjusted to fit the setting more accurately.
*Character creation is to be approved by the GM, however premade characters will also be at the table, complete with flush backgrounds.
*Player emersion is a big part of our campaign with real cause and effect events.
*As our game deals with many types of challenges, heavily focused characters in the field of combat with be discouraged, however such elements in back story is acceptable.
*Players will only be given basic allotment of weaponskills/bending abilities and will grow and develop each game based on their actions.
