D&D 3.5 Home Brew Game

Character creation
There will be 6 players max created by D&D 3.5 core book rules. Open classes are core book only. Stats will not be rolled. Starting at 1st level with 80 stat points. Stat points can be assigned as desired within Min/Max rules (min stat 8, max stat 18/ +- race modification). Alignments can be ANY providing players can get along. NO PC in-fighting PLEASE, players will be removed if they blatantly ignore this rule. Please send me a digital copy of your character concept and history for final approval. You should also acquire an image of your character and a lengthy (a page or two, not a novel please) character history. You will receive a special bonus feat for free based on your history, so put thought into it. I will choose your feat.
GM info
Your GM is a woman! I have been gaming and running for a few years. Looking forward to getting this game started. I am big into creative problem solving and will encourage roleplaying over dice rolling. If your mouth gets you into something, your mouth (with some help from your rolling) will have to get you out of it. :) I will use core book rules, with some personal liberty, as GM's are prone to do. Remember, I am GOD (Games Operational Designer).
History
The game world will be created by me. No modules for you - It's all in my head, muahahaha! You all have been convicted of a high end crime, whether you are guilty of the crime or not. Something serious, but nothing that you would be hung outright for, like treason. Please include this in your history. Please include how long you have been in jail before you were given this opportunity. You have all been contracted to work for the kingdom, as an alternative to jail time or being hung. The kingdom is a LN kingdom run by a LN King. The kingdom is in rugged terrain with a mix of hills, heavy forest, and mountains. There is still a lot of undeveloped terrain in the region. The borders of this kingdom are high rocky mountains on the south side, a warring mercenary kingdom to the north east, and a large forested elven kingdom on the north west. There is a large river (Mississippi sized) separating the two other kingdoms from yours. The atmosphere of the kingdom is hard and rugged. Kingdom major imports include food and finished goods. Kingdom major exports are wood, stone, metals, and other raw materials.
We have already had our first three games. Looking forward to our Fourth.

It can be found under the Suggested Tab at the top of the event lists

If these are all intended as the same campaign/game, I highly recommend remaking the current "suggested" event as recurring - It'll automatically be an event on the books once the first in the series meets it's 3-person quota and it makes management easier.

Great Game and great players overall. Don't worry, yesterday was the first gaming session where there was no combat. There will be at the next one.

Well I would like to think that the characters wisely chose not to have combat! Hex was attacked and a melee could have happened, other choices could have occured at other times also! Good work everyone!

I really enjoyed the opportunity to make use of my stone-cunning. The game was very fun and enjoyable, and never once was initiative rolled. Maybe next time... I didn't take cleave for nothing!

Folks, It looks like I won't be able to make it today. I've got a holiday party I must attend. I figured I could leave it early so I could join you for character generation, but can't. If you still could use another player, then let me know. If not, then I understand.

    Enjoy your gaming,

    Jeff

If there is room I would like to join. I can be there around 3. Let me know whether and where to email my PC background and Heroforge character sheet. Thanks!

Hi guys, for all of you who have joined recently, try to create a history of at least a page and bring it with you to the game. See you all then.

I'm interested if you still have room. I have run and played 3.5 for several years and would would really love to play in a game. Let me know if a slot is open and I'll get background and character stuff done to forward to you.

Just a FYI, my wife is the gamemaster and she has issues with potential Min/Max'ed characters. Just giving you the head's up just in case you want to alter your ideas at all. Also, she is running a semi-heroic campaign....I don't see a lot of potential for a barbarian :) The Half-Orc cleric idea is pretty cool, we are currently using PHB Gods. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Should be no worries. I'll write him up and if she doesn't think something will fly, I'll work on it.
