So Meetup has made some significant changes to the functionality of their site that gives me the ability to assign event organizer roles to GMs. This role gives you full control over your games’ calendar entries including locations, number of participants, descriptions, etc. I can see that the forums are working well for some but if your game needs more exposure then just ask me for the role. Based on your needs I will either assign the role temporarily or for as you keep up maintaining your entries.
Another great addition is the ability to make calendar entries repeatable. You have NO IDEA how happy this makes me. Before these two bits of functionality Carl, Jason, and I were adding the entries manually … how long has this site been open? J Well now I can truly sit back in the shadows and enjoy our little site grow.
Also, I want to thank the GMs who are utilizing this site and participating in the forums. You guys make every penny I spend on this site worthwhile. For those GMs who were holding back because you want control over your game’s participation well hold back no longer. The event organizer role will allow you to have full control over your calendar entries.
Last bit before I hide in the shadows for another few months. I want to thank Carl for being the #1 participant in this site. He has done a great job helping me manage all of your requests.
