Yea, sorry about that. You kinda got sucked in on that one. While I don't 
do it that often, characters do get killed a bit more often than D&D.

Shadowrun is criminals fighting the system.

Common phrases are:

"Geek the Mage"
"Don't Trust an Elf"

D&D is heroes fighting the villians.

It's one of the reasons we generally pass out the example characters than 
have new folk create characters. It's easier to get whacked and snag 
another example until you get the hang of it and then generate a keeper.

You're welcome to come back of course and place your vote. We may change 
it to Friday's if enough folk will attend.
