I am close to George (72 and Simms, Arvada) and wouldn?t mind finding a game in this area.  Also like post apocalyptic settings

Hi everyone,

Given the delay on sending emails to the rpg list email, I figured I?d pull everyone?s addresses out for a quicker response time.  If you want to reply to all of the people who?ve contributed to this specific discussion and would prefer not to deal with a five-hour long delay in having the email sent (seriously; I responded at 6:52am, and the email didn?t go out until 11:54am), just hit ?reply to all.?

Just from my own perspective, I?d definitely be interested in a post-apocalyptic game and would love to consider anything that isn?t D&D.  Non-d20 would be better than d20, but I?m sure I?m woefully in the minority in that regard.  Gaming on the weekends tends to work better for me (and I can travel), but during the week is okay as well if it?s fairly close (I live at 88th & Wadsworth, in Westminster).  Can?t make it to the discussion today as the wife and I have plans tonight, but I?d love to be kept in the loop, if you guys would be willing to keep me in mind as a potential player.

Well I know where the Village Inn and Perkins are, but I can always google maps the other two.  I am not terribly picky, but of the four I?d prefer Village Inn.

Well that was a huge response. It?s good to hear people crying out for gaming goodness.  For first meetup I?d suggest someplace easily accessible to all, reasonably priced, and comfortable to fit a decent sized group without trouble.  Someplace like Denny?s, International house of pancakes, Perkins, or Village Inn.  As I said before, I?m down south in Englewood, between Broadway and Colorado.  There are a number of such places.  Let?s agree on one, and then decide a time for tomorrow night.  We can all meet and discuss gaming.  It sounds like from the response we actually have enough players and DMs to make more than one gaming group.  Hopefully we can all work out what we are looking for.

Below are a few suggestions of locations everyone who will be coming respond with where you?ld suggest and we?ll figure out where to meet.

Locations

Village Inn - 1595 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO?

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery? - 1995 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO?

IHOP Restaurant? - 800 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO

?Denny's ?- 275 West Hampden Avenue, Englewood, CO?

Hey,

I?d be very interested in sitting down and talking gaming with you guys.  And grabbing dinner is a good time to sit down. I work 10 hour days so weekends (fri-sun) are the best bet for a gathering.  I?ve never run 4th Ed highest I?ve gone is 3.5, I played it once in a single lonely game that went nowhere.  I?m looking more to be a player again, sort of recharge my batteries so to speak.  It sounds like you have a pretty full gaming calendar already, I have a significant work load myself, Saturday days or Sunday anytime is the most consistent times I have available for regular gaming.  Why don?t we try to set up dinner on Friday night.  We can talk past experiences and future endeavors then and if we so happen to hit it off we can take it from there.

William.

Hey there!

Glad to hear from you, and good to meet you.  I have a couple games in the works at the moment, one of which runs every Saturday from noon to six, and the other (which will beginning this upcoming weekend), which will be running every other Sunday, nominally from 6PM to 10PM, though we're discussing the possibility of beginning earlier.

Some friends of mine and I (four of us in total) have also been very excited about the prospect of being able to play together in a 4E D&D game.  If you're up for running as well, perhaps we could work out a good time frame.  We're all sane, fun people and good players (in our humble opinions, heh).

Would you like to meet up, maybe grab some dinner?  We could introduce everyone and ensure that we're all comfy with each other before talking specifics.

Look forward to hearing from you!
