The Seven Deadly Sins of Real Estate Acquisition

  • Oct 15, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

You will get a chance to get to know other successful investors in the Denver area. We are focusing on a laid back approach to networking, over drinks! If you have a good deal to sell or want to buy something be sure to bring that info and you can share it with the group.

This month our friends at Happy Canyon Group will talk about the Seven Deadly Sins of Real Estate Acquisition; What to Look For BEFORE You Buy

We all have heard that you make your money when you buy. Does that mean you can lose money when you buy? Absolutely! Come to this meeting to learn what to look for from someone who has been there and done that. John Fisher has done more deals in Denver than anyone I know. He knows a thing or two on what to look for. In this powerful presentation you will learn to look for 7 specific things that could make or break you.

  1. Structure
  2. Sewer (scope)
  3. Safety (FHA Compliant)
  4. Asbestos
  5. Lead
  6. Mold
  7. Meth

John Fisher & Justin Walker will spend about an hour discussing these “Sins” with personal examples and audience participation.

Hi everyone, I am new, and I look forward to learning from all of you and what you may have to share. I recently had a good experience looking at million dollar homes for a friend moving to Denver and loved looking at homes. When I retire with the Feds down the road, I want to do real estate part-time until I am able to retire with the Feds then transition into the field full-time.

The last meeting (on Meth) was my first. Very informative. I will come again.
