The Falcon, CO Business event of the year!
Come out to the OTHER SIDE of Colorado Springs and enjoy an early evening of just Business Casual.
This event has been designed to take advantage of your time. It is a social gathering, not another (oh it’s so hard to say)…meeting. It will officially run from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
We have made a small addition to the Falcon Mixer this time. 'Tis the season for giving, but we wanted to do something different. So, Falcon Mixer has teamed up with Grace Community Church in Falcon.
Please, be generous and bring some sort of toiletry item to the Mixer. This could be a bottle of shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush, female products, etc...anything that you use on a daily basis.
We chose these things because they are simple and can mean a lot to those in need. Charity organizations are getting more middle income folks that have lost their jobs and just need that little boost to get them through the month. So these items are items that are essential to our day-to-day lives and could mean the difference between making a house or car payment or not!
Thank You in advance...
Jill, the Catering Specialist at the CreekView Grill is welcoming us with open arms. This is also where the Antler Creek Golf Course is located. And if you are a golfer who hasn't enjoyed a round here...well you need to...'nuff said.
Dress is business casual. Because we always want to look like we are ready to do business.
One minute presentations are your responsibility as you meet as many people as you casually can. Don’t forget, introduce your friend to your other friend.
There is no cost involved, except what you choose to spend on your own comfort or needs.
Bring your business cards and enjoy a round of sharing. Meet other business owners who share a common interest. Mingle with the folks who make our communities hum. This invitation is being sent out to folks from Colorado Springs to Calhan. And let’s not forget Falcon.
In order to make this an awesome event, not just a good event, there a few myths about Falcon that need to be debunked:
1) It’s not even close to Kansas (It’s only 8 miles directly East of Woodman and Powers)
2) We do have paved roads, in fact, Woodmen is a large four lane. And we have more than one stop light.
3) There are over 200 businesses out in Falcon (It’s not just a crossroads on the plains)
So now that that is cleared up. We want to stress that there are many exciting opportunities in and around the Falcon area. It is a place for your business to grow. It’s a place with a sense of community. And most importantly, it’s a place where people want to succeed.
We will see you soon.
