Hello, my name is Scott, I am an organizer from the Jeffco/Adams Ron Paul group. I forwarded this email to our members in regards to organizing a liberty march. Let me know what your thoughts are! Thanks,
Hello fellow patriots,
I am very happy with the organization of our group, and the numerous successful and productive meetings we have had in the past. There seems to be two "mentalities" in regards to the Ron Paul movement. There are many that were disillusioned with Rand Paul's endorsement, and have subsequently pulled away from the Paul campaign. Then, you have those who recognize that Rand Paul is definitely not Ron Paul, and we must keep moving forward. Well, I for one believe that both of these mentalities are correct. We need to support those who are pushing forward towards Tampa, to influence the weakened GOP as much as possible. At the same time, however, we must stand our ground and hold on to our principles (Like those Ron Paul supporters out east who are suing the GOP for election tampering and fraud.)
Personally, I am tired of seeing the "Occupy Wall Street" movement dominate the streets of Denver. (At least they have for the past year.) Wouldn't it be nice to see a "Don't Tread on Me" flag paraded through the 16th street mall to the Capitol? Wouldn't it be nice to see men and women march in solidarity with the snare drums drumming? I've talked with a few others, and I feel it is time we have a peaceful march on the 16th street mall to remind Coloradoans what liberty is all about. If any of you have heard of anything similar that has already been organized for the near future, please let me know. If not, let me know if you would be interested in a peaceful street action. I know there is a lot of momentum moving towards Tampa, but there are others who have yet to be "re-awakened" here in Colorado. I was thinking sometime close to the GOP Convention in August (maybe the week before, to give a vibrant "send-off" to those representing Colorado.) Thanks guys, and let me know of your ideas and thoughts. Remember, as Ron Paul has said, the Ron Paul Movement is not about Ron Paul. Its about liberty. Ron Paul has led the way, it is now time for us to push this movement forward.
