Howdy friends!

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Colorado released an eight
page letter to the Republicans on the Governor's A64 Task
Force, encouraging the implementation of A64 in a Republican
way. Here's the RLC blog post:

And a direct short link to the RLC letter (PDF):

The A64 Task Force's last two meetings are this week. Details:

Monday, February 25, 2013
1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday, February 28, 2013
1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location:  Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center
1300 Broadway, First Floor
Denver, Colorado 80203

Public comment is allowed at all meetings. The RLC A64
letter offers many anecdotes and ideas for comments, but
individual freedom and liberty are in short supply at these
government-heavy meetings.

In the state legislature, it looks like the House Judiciary
Committee will be taking up the DUID bill on Tuesday 2/26,
with opportunities to speak about that in the hearing. The
RLC A64 letter specifically addresses this area by basing
the argument on self-ownership and calling for repeal of all
DUI laws -- no victim, no crime.

For Liberty,

Chris Maj
