Is there anything else about yourself you would like to share with us?
Went to Thomas Jefferson High School here in Denver, then Cornell College, BA and MBA from the University of Denver. I've been a Great Books discussion leader. lead many seminars and workshops, and I've received training in adult learning theory.
Where have you found good conversation in the past?
I read Chris Phillips book Socrates Cafe and connected to a few friends to give it a try here in Denver. We held our first meeting at Panera Bread the Friday after 9/11 and we've been meeting together ever since. This Thursday night meeting first met at Common Grounds in the Highlands, then Tattered Cover in LoDo. Best conversatons were the late night dorm discussions at Cornell, and the meeting after the meetings with friends of Bill W.
Do you enjoy good conversation?
It seems to me GOOD conversation is important to me as food and water. Sometimes I don't realize what I'm thinking until I have a chance to say it. Good discussion almost always leads me to read more widely and deeply. Talking with a group of friends is one of life's great pleasures.
