Join us on May 19th as we welcome Len Beasley, UX and design ninja. Len will take us through a hands-on workshop where we'll learn the fine art of speed sketching, a UX technique designed to bring together a cross-discipline team from across an organization focused on solving a user or design problem. We're hoping this will be a technique you can learn and take back to your organizations to help get more people involved earlier in your design process, and ultimately create better and more well designed solutions.
Len loves creating and designing stuff for real people and the companies that are dependent on attracting and retaining customers. After working with large companies, startups, agencies, and academia, he’s found that he also loves teaching and showing others how to unlock design solutions with practical and immediately applicable design thinking tools and techniques. Len’s mantra of 'Learn. Don’t Copy' keeps his design efforts honest and satisfying at his day job at Factory Design Labs in Denver and when he co-teaches UCD at BDW (post-grad accelerator @ CU Boulder).
** Note: Due to the nature of this hands-on format, we're limiting the attendance to 20 people. Also, we currently do not have a sponsor for food and beverage so this is a Buy Your Own Beer meetup (there is an excellent bar inside Galvanize). We hope you'll join us!
