We're pleased to present a nationally known speaker at this potluck. We especially welcome families to hear Dr. Mars. Please invite friends who have kids to attend.
Ph.D. in Education, Dr. Andy Mars, has been vegan for thirty years. He has been the Director of the only totally vegan camps for kids in the United States for the last twenty years, is the Director of the first ever totally vegan K-12 school, is the Director of Veg Kids connecting veg kids with other veg kids, is the Director of the Kids Make A Difference Foundation helping raise a more conscious generation of kids, has raised children himself, and is finally planning (as he has been greatly encouraged) to start a blog - Tomorrow's Adults - with the start of the next school year. His personal and professional mission statement is, "Helping make a difference in the lives of kids, and helping kids make a difference in life."
In addition to his commitment to children, Dr. Mars has also long been a leader in the vegan community. He has served on the Board of Trustees of The American Vegan Society for over a quarter of a century, was a Founding Member both of PCRM and Earth Save, and runs a wide array of the vegan events in the Los Angeles area.
Bring a vegan dish--no meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs or honey--to serve 8, with recipe card or list of ingredients, serving utensil, and your own reusable table service.
