The Denver Yoga Cooperative currently has regular weekly Meetups and $7 yoga classes offered every weekday. (See the calendar for a list of classes and events.) In this time of economic challenge we are committed to making yoga available to everyone. Invited are like-minded individuals to practice yoga, meditation, breath awareness techniques and more.
The philosophy of the yoga we teach is that hatha yoga helps to prepare the body and mind for a deeper inner experience of one's "self." The sky is the limit as far as yoga-related resources available to you through coming to this Meetup group. Whether your interest is in quality hatha yoga that isn't "trendy," or wanting to learn more about other yogic practices such as meditation, mantra, chanting, etc., the Denver Yoga Cooperative is a valuable resource with high-quality instruction. The venue is a simple and peaceful studio, Whole Yoga, 1735 E. 17th Ave. (at Williams St.), where only yoga and meditation-related classes are held--you will feel transformed just stepping inside the doorway.
In addition to our regular Meetups we offer regular community events featuring a yoga-related theme--for example, Deep Relaxation, Kirtan, yoga book discussions, etc. These events are offered at a suggested $5-$10 donation, and part of the proceeds is donated to a local charity.
Our goal is to serve the community by creating community! We do this by offering quality yoga classes, experiences and connections. Check out our calendar or visit our Web site at wholeyoga.com for more information. We hope to MeetUp with you soon!
