Underwater hockey meetup group for the Denver area. We would like to invite you to try underwater hockey, a fun a competitive sport.
WHERE?
Lakewood practices are held at the Carmody Recreation Center at 2200 S (Old) Kipling St. in Lakewood, CO.
WHEN?
Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:30 and Wednesday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30. New players are encouraged to show up 15 minutes early. Cancellations
WHO?
Practices are open to men and women of all ages. Beginners are always welcome. Practices usually consist of scrimmage and instructional sessions, so there's something for everyone.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
If you are new to the sport, you're welcome to come a few times and try it for free. After that, you may either pay on a per-practice or per-quarter basis. For detailed payment information for Lakewood practices, please speak with Chris Debrunner, the Lakewood club Treasurer (you can catch him at practice most of the time).
WHAT DO I BRING?
If you have snorkeling gear (mask, fins and snorkel) that you'd like to use, feel free to bring it, but we also have equipment for you to borrow, so all you really need is a swimsuit.
