How would you exact your revenge? - Denver Broncos vs Carolina Panthers

So how would you feel about returning to the place at which you spent the better part of 10 years building only to be exited unceramoniously.  How would you return?  Is revenge a dish best served cold?  These are the questions Fox must have been at least considered this entire week.  Let's revisit some history.  It was well known 2 years ago that Fox was out as the Panthers head coach, but that process was brewing long before as he pretty much shut out of the draft process during the 2010 draft.  In addition, the Panthers did all they could to shield their players from coming to Denver aka Steve Smith and D'Angelo Williams but giving them monster contracts, not that we're complaining right now.

But let's get back to the game at hand.  How do you contain Cam Newton?  A mobile QB is a defensive nightmare as can be said of Aaron Rogers, Jay Cutler and the well known RG3.  What that often entails is a spy to be put on the QB at all times, but that takes away 1 person, most often the weak or middle linebacker from the defense, thus, pressure is the Key.  Lucky for us, Wolfe VonDoom is more than capable of apply that pressure to a relatively shaky line, especially with Miller coming off the endge to a rookie Guard/Tackle.  I expect Woodyard to have another big game as he will most likely be the spy as he was in game against the Saints.  His fundamental technique and ability to read the QB are becoming quite formidable as noted by many around the NFL.

Offensively, John Fox wants to run this game down the Panther's throat.  Their pass defense is rather good, but run defense is terrible.  If the running game gets going early, look for a lot of play action and quick short crossing routes as the defense will be too worried about the run and will be thrown off.

Lastly,  Not the time of the game, it is again 1pm and we have a strech of games where 5-7 starting with the game again cincinnati are on the road.  Big deal against mediocre teams, but nonetheless, we can't afford to slip.  Hope to see you all on Sunday!  Big day because it's always Bronco Day

I am a Broncos fan and I believe. I believe in Mile High Magic and Bleed Orange and Blue. I celebrate the drive and the Mile High Salute. I create the THUNDER, share in the common dream and will forever be a proud citizen of BRONCOS COUNTRY!
