Let's say good bye to summer with a Wine Tasting and Pot Luck BBQ. Rick from Ironstone Vineyards will be here with some great tasting wines, I'll be BBQing the usual Hamburgers, Brats and Chicken. I ask everyone to bring a side dish to share with everyone. I also have invited all the members from Great Expectations to join us; if you don't know about Great Expectations they are a local dating service for denver. For those who have attented before you know this is a great venue for you to come and meet other great people and their dogs, there is always a lot of open space for the dogs to play. PLEASE WHEN RSVPING PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU PLAN ON BRINGING FOR A SIDE DISH AND WHAT YOU'D LIKE (HAMBURGER,BRAT OR CHICKEN).There is a $5 charge for this event per person. As always it's BYOB!

Jeff always has a great party, but at this group we had some new people who weren't following the rules: feeding other peoples' dogs treats and people food which just starts issues between the dogs, and possibly makes them sick; my dog has had a tummy ache since the party. As always, the food and conversation was great and the dogs and people had a great time!

One of our best meetups. The people and their dogs were all awesome, everyone was pleasent and seem to be really enjoying them selfs. I want to thank everyone for coming and helping to make this one of the best dog meetup groups in denver.

I brought a female friend and all three of my dogs, so it was a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and let ALL the dogs play together! The host, Jeff, was really a wonderful guy, and we had all the great food & drink you could want! Even the weather managed to stay nice enough for us to have a really festive evening till almost 10pm. Jeff is to be commended on doing such a great job of cooking and making everyone feel not only welcome, but quite comfortable. It was just an amazing evening!

I have a few suggestions for improvement (not criticism at all, it was really fun). Since it sounds like this event was organized in a new way, I have some suggestions that could make it even better, or maybe not. It would be nicer, and easier to talk, eat using our lap-tables and keep an eye on our dogs if we could sit down (I would guess most everyone has a folding chair or two to bring, if it was suggested to do so). For such a large crowd it makes sense to bring in an extra grill, or at least cook the chicken first (needs more time), so everyone could eat their main course with their meal. I have a mini Webber type that would have worked for the brats). Maybe someone could do that in lieu for a dish( seemed like we have more than enough food). Some of us would appreciate some real mayo on their burgers... Finally, it would be helpful to get our nametag when we arrive, especially for the visual learners. Thanks for listening.

R there actually people complaining about a $5 charge? I want to know where they can go and get food, booze, exorcise for the dog(s), and meet nice people for $5 and park in the city for free? I have a couple of friends who are unemployed and can scrape up $5. Heck if someone wanted to go, just bring a nice side dish like baked beans- to make the party interesting later on ;) I have been for over a year to the parties and have met some great friends. That right there is worth the $5.

I have seen some people be rude while asking where their burgers were, people who don't watch their dogs and people who don't even clean up after themselves or their dog. I feel that $5.00 is not a lot to ask to for the great time that we have at the Dog House and we should be thanking our host instead of questioning a $5.00 fee.

Jeff has graciously hosted these parties at no cost to you for a year now while he has spent a couple HUNDRED dolllars EACH TIME just to buy meat to BarBQue for us, this doesn't even include his Meetup fees or the wine tastings. C'mon folks, Jeff stands at a BarBque pit all night serving up some great food and fun times for all of us and has never asked us for anything except a side dish for all to share.

Hi Dog Lovers~Most of you have been here before and you have to agree that these meetups are the most fun that you have had. Where else can you get a kick-ass BarBQue, a wine tasting, great company and lots of fun for you and your dog? I have been to Meetups where you spend $5.00 and get nothing!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
