Rememberance for our lost companion animals

Please join Project: THRIVE and local animal lovers as we gather together at year's end to celebrate and remember our beloved companion animals whom we have lost.

We will mourn their departure.

But we will also remember their spirit well by joyously telling their story, sharing a memory or simply lifting up our voices to speak their names out loud in ceremony.

Our gathering will include soft music and inspiring song.

We will light a luminaria in honor of our pet. We will remember, take time to speak of fond memories, share uplifting readings, create meaningful ritual and, of course, we will stand in silence while we call out each name individually as the bell tolls in their honor.

This gathering will be inspiring, meaningful and uplifting. We will enjoy the year's end surrounded by holiday lights, the warmth of friendship, crisp breeze while developing rich community.

What: Companion Animal Remembrance
Where: Loomiller Park
11th Ave & Sumner St Longmont
When: Saturday early evening, Dec 29th 4:00-5:00 pm
Why: To honor the loss and memory of our beloved companion animals
Hosts: Project:THRIVE and local animal welfare advocates

Warm drink and light refreshments will be served.

You are invited to bring a picture or a memento to lay beside the luminaria you light for your honored pet.

If you cannot attend please feel free to post a photo, name and words of remembrance in honor of your companion animal to our fb page. (Project: THRIVE (Denver).

We will create an album to honor their memories.

Warm holiday wishes~

Is this a setting where I can bring my dogs? When I came home and told my pets that we lost Maxie, both my girls sat and solemly listened and there parot Trigger dropped what ever he had and asked, "are yuo ok?"

So sorry Scot for the loss of Maxie. I can tell she will be missed by the whole family. Trigger and the gang are surely intuitive~ must be the tight connection and deep love. So glad you will be joining us. <3

Maxie was the pack leader, even if he was the smallest. Trigger still calls for him. Suprisingly, parrots love their dogs and will seriously chew you out for yelling at his pups. Thanks for your sincere response. Scott

I am really sorry to hear, Bonnie, about losing your companion so recently. It just stings so deeply. If you would like to post his photo to our fb page we will honor him with you. Sending lots of warm wishes.

Last year this was a very special event and definitely worth attending if you can. Contact Jinna directly with questions please (I will be at work and therefore not able to attend).
