The Denver Doggie Happy Hour Group Message Board › K-9s Against Cancer - Sept 12
Did you know cancer is the number one killer of our canine companions? Born from the desire to celebrate survivors of canine cancer, cherish the memories of those we have lost, and honor and support those still fighting the battle against this terrible disease, K-9s Against Cancer is an annual dog-friendly
5K fun run/1 mile walk. Volunteers are also needed.
This family-oriented day of festivities will feature music, food, games, giveaways, demonstrations and more! Net proceeds will benefit two great causes: CSU’s Animal Cancer Center and The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation. Funds raised
will support canine cancer research and treatment at CSU, Table Mountain Animal Shelter and Bow Wow Buddies Foundation’s local and national animal welfare programs.
