23 Mile Ride. Meeting at C-470 and Morrison Rd Exit

Let's have a ride on Friday afternoon. What better excuse do you need to leave work early on a Friday afternoon. I think this will be a good ride to work on cadence, positioning, and other techniques. It will also stretch your legs for any longs ride for the weekend.

The ride will be 23 miles with 853 ft of elevation gain.

Meeting at C-470 and Morrison Rd Exit. Meet at paved shoulder next to Conoco Station (Rooney Road). Will ride through Morrison, left on CO-8. Left on Turkey Creek Road. Once we reach Eldridge Street we head down Belleview Ave for a small bit and them hop on the C-470 Bike Path. Once on the C-470 Bike Path we head on into Bear Creak Park (kinda behind Homedepot). Riding around the Fox Hollow Golf Course. Once through the golf course we head west on Morrison Rd and back into Bear Creak Park, riding mostly different roads and bike paths from the first time in Bear Creak and then return to Morrison and the parking lot.
The ride will be a mixture of road and bike path (all paved). Will regroup at least 2-3 times. This will be a No Drop Ride. Bring plenty of fluids, your favorite powerbars and sunscreen. After the ride, if you want to do any extra climbing, Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge are near by. If you want to do extra miles after the ride, Golden is a good option.

Any questions leave a comment or 3o3-888-six 2 nine 1.

I live near the meet up spot, so I will be riding down. Black Fuji Roubaix and red/while helmet.

Hey Guys, Sorry about the parking situation. I was kinda taken by surprise when I was riding down and seen there was no place to park. I will check the Bandimere schedule for now on. Not sure if you knew, but I shorten the route and cut out a few hills. That is why rode the road in Bear Creek a couple of times. There is not many places where you ride 3 wide and chat. Anyways I still had a good time. Hope to see you on the next one!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
