Squeaky Bean has long been on my radar, and it's about time we check it out. Eater National dubs them as one of Denver's 38 Essential Restaurants. In fact, Squeaky Bean won the Best Restaurant of the Year at the Eater awards.
They've remained in the press as one of the top area restaurants. Very recently, Chef Samuel McCandless of Frasca joined the Squeaky Bean team, bringing with him several other Frasca chefs. The food is already supposed to be good, and now Frasca chefs joining the team?! Guaranteed to please.
Their happy hour offers 'spreads & shmears', consisting of a daily-rotating assortment of spreads, breads, and charcuterie. All are $5 and come with homemade potato chips, ciabatta, focaccia or papadum.
Squeaky Bean is a true Locavore restaurant- They have their own farm they source from. Read about it- http://thesqueakybean.net/#/bean_acre
Let's plan on meeting at 4:30 pm, but happy hour runs until 6. Stop by at your leisure, we'll probably be there until about 8.
Let's 'explore our inner bean!'
