Game Party at Bonnie Brae

Bonnie Brae is a local hobby shop off Broadway. We play board games there the first Friday of every month. Feel free to bring you own games of see what they have in store.

To get to the location, first find your way to South Broadway (It splits a little North of where it reaches I-25). Make your way to W. Girard Avenue, a small back street by a strip mall. The strip mall had a grocery store and a Starbucks. If you are coming from South Denver Metro and you see these things, you've gone too far North. Turn on Girard and head toward the strip mall. You will see a light as you drive down. Turn left away from the grocery store. The backdoor of Bonnie Brae is the only one with a light. Go in and there you are.

So aside from being deceptively long, how was BSG? Despite the jokes, it seemed like you were all happily going strong even at the end so I'm assuming it was a hit.

Another awesome night of fun. BSG was a blast once we got the hang of it. And we humans kicked toaster butt. So say we all! :)

If you like playing board games there's a group in Denver Board Games meetup (http://www.meetup.com/The-Denver-Boardgames-Meetup-Group/)
One group meets at Bonnie Brae, another meets near Green Mountain at Atlanta Bread Company near Wadsworth & Alameda.

Charles would understand if he'd spent 8 hours there over the last few days. Sweet home Chicago... Oh well, it was worth it to get back in time for this!

Every airport is terrible if its early enough and you've had little enough sleep.

Anyone one interested in Mice & Mystics (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/124708/mice-and-mystics) ... or should I bring a longer game Merchants & Mauraders? (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/25292/merchants-marauders)

FYI, this is the maker of "We Didn't Playtest This" which is an awesomely random card game similar to Flux but ten times as random and hilarious.

Have a blast guys! I'll be out of town for the week, but I'll be bringing Monty Python Flux to play with you guys in spirit. ;-)

So apparently I've been completely wrong about my vacation schedule for the entire past two months and just discovered I'm supposed to be on a plane to Chicago tomorrow night. The good news is that I can attend this after all!

Well, shame about the last minute flight, but it'll be cool to have you there.

Does Bonnie Brae Hobbies stay open later than 8pm as per their website? Don't know if I want to drive the distance for a single hour of game time....

    July 20, 2013

We are their tell about Midnight.

If shipping goes as planned I should have a brand new copy of Dungeon Roll to play at this event. I've been selected to help demo the game as various local events, so hopefully this all goes smoothly!
