Doctor Who Countdown Viewing Party III

Let's wrap up the classic era and go into the alternate world of the Doctor during the Dark Days when the show was off the air. Here's what we'll watch:

The Seventh Doctor: REMEMBRANCE OF THE DALEKS. Even though SILVER NEMESIS was the Official 25th anniversary show, this is the story with all the nods to the past. And Ace beats the crap out of a Dalek with a baseball bat!

The Eight Doctor: It was a hard decision but I'm going to show the movie. Mostly because this is his only television story.

The Alternate Ninth Doctor: SCREAM OF THE SHALKA. An animated adventure made for the 40th anniversary celebration (we remember how big that was, don't we?) with Richard E. Grant voicing what we now call "The Shalka Doctor."

This meetup should be over with plenty of time if you want to go the karaoke meetup at 9pm. I'll have snacks and drinks. If you would like to bring anything to share please do but don't feel obligated. Again, I have to cap attendance at 8. I'll send my contact information to everyone coming a few days before the party.

Scream of the Shalka! AMAZING!!!! Has The Curse of Fatal Death ever been put on DVD? That would be fun too.

Alas no. I spoke with Dan Hall at Gallifrey One last year and asked him specifically about CURSE and all the Red Nose Day specials and why they don't do a release of all of them. Apparently because they were made as a non-profit thing they can not be sold to the public. He didn't know how CURSE was able to be released on VHS but said that was the reason none of them have come out.

However, I can tell you (as I told everyone at the first party) I have a special something up my sleeve to show at this party that is fairly rare.... ;)
