Based on the discussion post here: http://www.meetup.com/DenverGeeks/messages/boards/thread/41009682/#[masked]

Let's get together and agree on a video game to play as group! Then we can discuss when we should meet back up to discuss our thoughts on the game.

I've created a survey to get a sense of who's still interested in this group and when to schedule future meetings. Please take the survey and let me know what you think.

I was looking forward to meeting some people today, but I had some... challenges transporting a car. Next time, perhaps.

I'm moving all this week so I haven't had much free time to do much planning and most of my games are packed up at the moment. If possible, I'd like each person to bring a list of every game that they own (physically or digitally) so that we might draw ideas from those lists. Having the games separated by platform would be helpful too.

So I've got a couple of thoughts, since we are all gamers and it's always more fun to play online with people you know, if people want they could post up their gamertags here or send an email to members if they don't want it public, give everyone a chance to have more people they know on their friends list. And my other thought is regarding the meeting location on Sunday. It's an Irish pub the night before St. Patricks day, now I don't know how it is here in Colorado, but I know that back in Michigan St. Patricks Day is a big deal, so again not knowing how it is out here that well, I just want that thought to be out there cause the pub might be a bit hard to get into or to get a table, or to hear each other. Thoughts?

P.S. my gamertag for everything is bluedemon82384

I hadn't thought about the St. Patrick's Day aspect. I'll change the venue to Panera. Good suggestion.

Also, my Xbox Gamertag is MenoftheForest

So what's everyone been playing lately?

I'm actually on a break from the TSW. It's a cool game but it started getting very redundant with no explanations or much story progression. Just my take on it.

I beat Assassin's Creed IV a month or so ago. Now I'm playing Dark Souls on 360 and Ocarina of Time on 3DS.

If we're not reading books about video games why is it called a book club?

If you take a look at the forum, it should explain it a little better. We are using the book club format to appreciate video games.

Aw man. I really wanted an excuse to read the novelization of God of War.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
