Reminder: iPhone Meetup on Tuesday, January 18th

Kevin D.
Denver, CO
I wanted to send a reminder out before the weekend that we will be having the iPhone user group on Tuesday, January 18th. It will be at Remy's offices, located at 1660 17th St, Suite 400, Denver, CO 80202. It's on the corner of 17th and Wynkoop- next to Union Station to the east for anyone planning on taking bus or lightrail. Rob Rusher will be giving a presentation on building native Cross-Platform mobile apps (more info on Rob is below).

If you have not RSVP'd to the event on Meetup and plan on attending, please shoot me an email ( so I can get the right amount of food and drink.

Chipotle burritos will be served, as well as soda and beer. The food will arrive at 6:30, so that's probably a good time to plan on arriving. Rob's presentation will start promptly at 7, and unfortunately the doors to the building will be locked at that point. Please call my cell at 720-935-0389 if you arrive a little late and are locked out and I'll come let you in.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to shoot me an email ( or give me a call (303)539-0453.

Rob Rusher's presentation: Building Native Cross-Platform Mobile Applications

To build a native mobile application, you need to know
Objective-C or Java and specialized SDKs that are likely very unfamiliar. Not
in this session! Yes, you can still build native mobile applications without
using these specialized languages and libraries. This presentation will
introduce Titanium Mobile and show you how to build a native mobile application
for Android, Blackberry and iPhone using one JavaScript code set.
